Covidien offers the hCG Combo Pregnancy Test Kit, which is a rapid test used to detect human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in serum or urine. This simple, one-step procedure can provide fast and accurate results, in just 3-4 minutes when using urine, and 5-6 minutes when serum is used. This pregnancy test is used for early detection of pregnancy.The hCG Combo Test is CLIA-waived for urine samples and CLIA-moderately complex for serum samples. This rapid test has a sensitivity of 20mIU/mL (urine), and 10mIU/mL (serum). Each kit has 30 individually-packed test urine/serum cassettes that have specimen droppers and instructions for use, which can be stored at room temperature or refrigerated with a temperature between 2 - 30C.
