The Clinitek® Advantus™ Urine Chemistry Analyzer from Siemens Diagnostics enables high productivity and quality results in medium to high volume settings.Simple and Accurate: This analyzer automatically reads about 500 of the Multistix® brand of urinalysis test strips in one hour with 7 seconds per sample. Additionally, it interprets and documents the results. It accommodates technician requests and STAT testing and has up to 3 user-defined confirmatory flags. It requires only one touch to switch between test strip configurations and provides consistent and accurate results.Quality Control: The Urine Analyzer has added quality control features and will automatically prompt technicians to perform QC tests and lock-out if QC is not performed. It features user-define QC protocol. It allows manual entry of microscopy results and will automatically print and flag ID reports for follow-up based on user input. Reports can be printed and transmitted to LIS and the machine also downloads and prints load lists from LIS.Additional Features: It has a simple to use color touch screen. It consolidates microscopy reports into one patient record and it has three sieve functions to flag abnormal results. It saves up to 500 patient IDs and their data.
