The Baxter Welch Allyn Connex Integrated Wall System (CIWS) is a comprehensive, wall-mounted patient assessment platform that combines vital signs monitoring with diagnostic capabilities in a single integrated unit. The CIWS measures SpO2, non-invasive blood pressure (SureBP), temperature (SureTemp Plus or Braun ThermoScan PRO 6000), and respiration and integrates with otoscope and ophthalmoscope heads for complete physical examination. Multiple monitoring profiles support SpO2 check, interval, and continuous monitoring workflows. Wireless EMR connectivity sends vitals and exam findings directly to the patient chart, reducing manual data entry. The CIWS is available in standard (STD) and wireless (WRLS) configurations. Optional capnography (EtCO?) and additional modules expand capability for higher-acuity environments. Nurse call, custom scoring, and Early Warning Score support are built in.
