The Baxter Welch Allyn Connex Vital Signs Monitor (CVSM) 6000 Series is a proven connected vital signs platform for general care floors, with the ability to expand to continuous monitoring for higher-acuity patients. Its intuitive touchscreen with bright, vivid colors improves workflow visibility and reduces training time. The CVSM measures SpO2, non-invasive blood pressure (SureBP results in 15 seconds), temperature (SureTemp Plus or Braun ThermoScan PRO 6000), end-tidal CO? (EtCO? with Microstream Capnography), and respiration rate. The integrated Pulmonary Index (IPI) helps caregivers quickly identify respiratory depression. Multiple monitoring profiles support SpO2 check, averaging, interval, and continuous monitoring workflows. The 6800 model includes an internal 802.11 a/b/g wireless radio for seamless network connectivity; the 6700 is radio-ready for wireless upgrades. Secure bidirectional EMR connectivity sends vitals directly to the patient chart. Compatible with most major EMR/EHR systems. Nurse call integration and custom scoring support clinical escalation workflows.
