The Baxter Welch Allyn HScribe Holter Analysis System is a network-based platform for acquiring, analyzing, editing, reviewing, reporting, and storing pre-recorded ambulatory ECG data from compatible Holter recorders. HScribe eliminates the physical constraints of traditional Holter systems: recorder hookup and download can be performed at any participating location on the secure internet/intranet network, with data transferred centrally without requiring the patient or recorder to be physically present. The VERITAS algorithm provides signal processing and analysis, including retrospective, prospective, and superimposition scanning modes. Multiple workstations can simultaneously acquire, review, and generate customizable electronic reports within a shared database. The centralized database maintains patient demographics and serves as a repository for final reports, supporting quick search and retrieval. Bidirectional DICOM and HL7 interfaces connect HScribe to EMR and third-party systems. Management features include password-protected user permissions, audit trails, electronic signature, and regulatory compliance tools. Configuration options include PDF output (YXXXA), server interface (YXXXC), and PDF+XML output (YXXXA). Also available for clinical research with 12-lead continuous Holter analysis.
