Korotkoff sound detection via the included microphone provides accurate systolic and diastolic blood pressure measurements even under the acoustic noise of treadmill or ergometer exercise. The QRS trigger cable synchronizes BP measurement with the cardiac cycle for precise timing during peak exercise.
