Real CPR Help®

The AED Pro incorporates ZOLL's Real CPR Help® technology to provide immediate feedback on the quality of chest compressions. A sensor within compatible CPR electrodes measures compression rate and depth, and the AED processes this information in real time.

Depending on configuration, rescuers receive visual and audible prompts such as “Push Harder” and “Good Compressions,” while an adaptive metronome helps guide compression rate. This allows responders to make immediate adjustments to CPR performance during a cardiac arrest.

See-Thru CPR® Technology

See-Thru CPR® helps professional rescuers minimize interruptions in chest compressions by filtering CPR-related artifact from the ECG waveform. This allows the underlying cardiac rhythm to remain visible while CPR is being performed, helping clinicians evaluate rhythm changes without unnecessarily pausing compressions.

ECG Monitoring

Unlike many conventional AEDs, the AED Pro can provide 3-lead ECG monitoring for professional rescuers. Using an AED Pro ECG cable and standard ECG electrodes, the device displays the patient's ECG rhythm and heart rate for ongoing cardiac assessment.

The system can also perform background rhythm analysis during ECG monitoring and alert the rescuer if a potentially shockable rhythm is detected.

Flexible AED & Manual Operation

The AED Pro is designed to accommodate responders with different levels of clinical training. In semiautomatic operation, the device analyzes the patient's rhythm and guides the rescuer through defibrillation when appropriate.

On models configured with manual mode, trained professional rescuers can override automated operation, view the patient's ECG and heart rate, determine whether a shock is indicated, charge the defibrillator, and manually deliver therapy. Manual mode availability depends on the specific AED Pro configuration.

Rugged Design for Professional Responders

The AED Pro is engineered for use beyond controlled hospital environments. Its IP55 dust- and water-ingress rating and ability to withstand a 1.5-meter drop test make it particularly well suited for EMS, fire and rescue, industrial response, and other demanding applications.

The AED Pro records rescue information that can be reviewed after an event using RescueNet® CaseReview. Providers can evaluate CPR performance metrics such as compression rate, depth, release velocity, and compression fraction to support training and quality-improvement initiatives. Rescue data can be transferred via USB for convenient post-event analysis.
